About the New Story

Overview 

We find ourselves in the midst of an Old Story that is in an accelerating decline. The economy is fragile, democracies around the world are increasingly anemic; while autocratic rule is rising, and climate change has brought us to a place of environmental crisis. A Poly-Crisis really. A New Story is coming, and it will be based upon care for the Earth, with deep respect for the Feminine, the global poor and all forms of life. However, this new way of being together will arrive in a fashion and timetable known only to the Creator.

 

Meanwhile we find ourselves in a liminal space between the two stories. It is in essence an unmarked wilderness with few recognizable signposts and only a few conventional handholds (care, compassion, community…). The National Stewards Program explores how to live and lead well in this liminal space with a focus on living in alignment with the goodness of Creation and the wisdom of the Creator.

 

The Stewards Program aims to transmit lessons received over the past fourteen years regarding how to live well in the uniquely challenging times in which we find ourselves. Some of these lessons came from direct experiences with Spirit and others from friends and wisdom holders.
